T.N.T is capable of undertaking a variety of on site jobs, the kitchen above being merely one example of such a job. The procedure necessary to complete the job varies with each, depending on the area to be done, and the amount of work present.
For a kitchen, the time spent on site is rarely more than a week. Over the course of a week, the entire job is completed. The process begins with the removal of all cabinet doors, drawers, and false fronts, which are returned to T.N.T. to be worked on.
After the removal is completed, the wood framework is taped off and isolated to allow for a clean stripping of the wood. Once the wood has been stripped, all waste and soiled coverings are removed.
The next step involves sanding the framework, to prepare it for taking a finish. Once the woodwork has been sanded, it is stained a color of the customer's choice, and can be matched to an existing finish, as well.
Finally, all the woodwork is sprayed with five coats of lacquer, to protect it from daily use of the kitchen, particularly exposure to grime and water.
All the doors, drawers and false fronts are subjected to the same treatment, leading to an identical result over all. Once the 'removeables' have been completed, they are returned to the kitchen, and rehung in their proper places, completing the job.
