The above picture represents a set of chairs in various states of being stripped and refinished. The chair on the right has not yet been stripped, and still retains its original finish.
The chair in the center has been stripped, and now awaits the refinishing process. The chair on the left has been fully refinished, as well as having a new caned seat placed in it.
T.N.T. prides itself on its extensive refinishing process, which involves an exhaustive process of labor to produce a quality result for the customer. Each piece is first carefully hand sanded after having been stripped, to allow for the best possible finish.
After having been sanded to a smooth texture, the piece is stained to the desired color, which can either be one the customer has picked, or one which will match an existing piece.
Once the piece has been stained, it is sprayed with several coats of protective lacquer, which assist in protecting the piece, and helping it retain its color. This lacquer can also be used to more exactly match the color of the finish to an existing finish.
